Join us for the Annual Whistler Balding for Dollars - We are stoked to be back at the legendary Garibaldi Lift Co, listening to the Music by The Hairfarmers, enjoying drink specials, and plenty o' headshaving. We are doing this all in support of kids with cancer at the oncology wards of BC Children's Hospital.

The 23rd Annual Whistler Balding for Dollars is back with our host venue the Garibaldi Lift Co.! This year, with Whistler's incredible volunteers, Dave and Wendy Clark, retiring to a sunnier spot in BC, they have handed the reigns over to Colt Paul. Colt is a high school student living in Whistler and the son of Al Paul, a long time participant of Whistler's Balding for Dollars. Read Colt and Al's story here.
About Balding for Dollars Whistler
Since 2002, the community of Whistler has supported Balding for Dollars through their annual fundraiser. Originally organized by Dave & Wendy Clark (Whistler Friends), the event was an instant crowd favorite and has become a mainstay among some of Whistler’s most anticipated fundraisers, raising over $475,000 over the past 22 years.
In April 2024, Dave and Wendy announced their plans to retire and leave Whistler. While we were very sad to see them go, we are eternally grateful for each year of their support and the awareness they brought to the Whistler community. Thanks to the efforts of Whistler Friends, Balding for Dollars Whistler will live on in the hands of its new organizers, and fellow Whistler Friend and high school junior, Colt Paul (with help from his family and friends).
